Finally! It looks like within the next 24 hours the real summer is about to hit Berlin. So please take it easy, enjoy the sun and be patient when you have to wait for that Weizenbier.
We have about three nice months left – hopefully. So the worst spring/ summer since the 70s seems to finally have an end.
As I always say – in this Blog we write about why Berlin loves you and why it sometimes doesn`t well it didn`t seem to love us in the last 3 months – at least the Berlin weather.
Get  your Modjo back, look at those beautiful people, drink that nice and cool beer, walk on the streets, jump into the Spree and dance to those smooth open air beats because: BERLIN LOVES YOU.

Amano – one of the new hotels around Rosenthaler Platz (not naming the Easyjet Hotel, The Circus Hotel the XY Hotel etc.) flooding the area so tourists have a hub to the hip Mitte area was the location for the Mirapodo Launch Party last night. Mirapodo claims that you can return your shoes within 100 days and the shipping to your house (and back to Mirapodo in case the shoes don`t fit or you don`t like them) is free. There is a similar US Service complaining that they wish people would order more shoes even if they ship them back. It`s interesting how the German mindset will take that approach – order and try as many pairs as you want and if you don`t want them send them back! So order order order and – that`s what Mirapodo is betting on – keep not just one pair …

It was a quite interesting crowd, good atmosphere not too much “hippe mitte stuff” and a good place to be last night.

As much as we don`t like all these hotels shooting up like mushrooms if Amano can establish their downstairs Lobby for events like that it will not have been the last time we visit!

This is kind of a rare picture. After the early 10am AQ1 Show this swedish model took some time off to relax before  going to the next show. Eventhough it was just two minutes and we used it for a little shoot she seemed quite happy after her powernap!

It must be hard to get up around six or seven in the morning to get  to the first show and then look skinny, pretty and happy. Having seen the backstage entrance cigarettes and coffee seem to help a lot to be skinny, pretty and happy without a propper breakfast in the morning. But what about the shows in the afternoon and evening?

Was asked on an invitation we got the other day … and yes – we did!

The Green Zone seems to really exist in Berlin! What does it take to run a party in an old Iraqi embassy in the middle of Berlin? Well I suppose not a lot. A generator, two lapt tops, speakers and a but more. Setup a bar invite people and word  to mouth in Berlin works for itself in Berlin. That`s it your are set to go and have a great time!
